Women's Camping Weekend Announced

The women's camping weekend is scheduled for September 14-16, 2018 at the Adventure Bound Camping Resort. Two cabins have been reserved. Women are invited to spend one or both nights or just the daytime. Please sign up. Contact Michelle Earnhardt with any questions.

Women to Camp Too!

A Women's Camping Weekend is being planned for September 14-17, 2017 at the Adventure Bound Camping Resort. Anyone with a camper wanting to make a reservation can do so as there are several spots still open for that weekend. Please speak with Michelle Earnhardt if interested in making a reservation.

Let's Get Cooking

Women of all ages and generations are invited to a Healthy Cooking Class to be held at Crossroads on Friday September 23, 2016 at 6:00 pm. Together they will learn to make Chicken and Vegetable Pizza, Spinach Walnut Salad, and a surprise dessert. Michelle Earnhardt will be the hostess.

Women Gathering for Tea

We are planning an All Daughters' Tea for Saturday May 21, 2016 from 1:00-3:30 pm at the church. Women and girls of all ages are welcome. Ladies, please sign up and provide the total number you will be bringing, including yourself.

Women's Discipleship Program Introduced

A discipleship program for women is being introduced with a meeting at 9:00 am on Sunday September 26, 2015. We are encouraging women to build mentoring relationships. This meeting is for all who would like to be involved in disciplining others or in being discipled. Martha Johnson will be coordinating this effort. Questions should be directed to Martha.

Self-Defense Class for Girls and Women to be Conducted (UPDATED)

A self-defense course will be offered at the church to women and girls on September 13, 2015 at 4:00 pm. This session will prepare participants against unwanted advances. A meal will be provided. Cost is $20 for materials and food. See Barb Knauff for more information.

Update: The course has been moved to Fresh Grounds Coffeehouse. The Crossroads Youth Group will cover the cost for teen girls.

Fall Sunday School Classes Set

The Fall 2013 Sunday School class schedule is set to begin September 15, 2013. The adult classes available will be:

• Church History in Plain Language by Bruce Shelley will be resuming. Pete Keeley will be leading.


• Todd Jaussen and Lee Earnhardt will lead a study of Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters: 10 Secrets Every Father Should Know by Meg Meeker.


• A ladies class taught by Evie Haller will be based on the book For Women Only: What You Need to Know about the Inner Lives of Men by Shaunti Feldhahn.

Ladies' Bible Study Set to Resume

The Ladies' Bible Study will resume weekly on Mondays at 10:00 am. First session is September 9, 2013 with Joyce Keeley leading a study of The Truth Project. All women are welcome to attend.

Women's Fellowship Weekend Announced

Since their men will be out roughing it for the weekend, the women are invited to fellowship at the home of Michelle Earnhardt on August 16-19, 2013. Come for just an hour or the whole weekend. Lots of activities planned. On Saturday afternoon Joyce Keely will be sharing her secret bread making recipe to be followed by a meal of lasagna and, of course, fresh homemade bread. Two New Sunday School Classes to Start

Two new Sunday School classes focusing on the men and women of the Bible will begin Sunday April 15, 2012. Dave Campbell will be teaching on the men of the Bible. Debbie Weese will teach on the women of the Bible.

Three New Sunday School Classes Starting

There will be three new Sunday School classes beginning in January 2012.

• On Sunday January 15, 2012 Bill Haller will resume the class discussing Christian Contentment.
• Ron Beil will start a class on Sunday January 15, 2012 on the topic of Christian Beliefs.
• Betsy Edgar will be leading a class for women starting Sunday January 22, 2012 on the Lies Women Believe based on the book of the same name by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. It will probe the depths of women's illusions and delusions of their hopes, fears, failures, and sorrows.

New Adult Sunday School Classes to Start

Two new Sunday School classes are scheduled to begin Sunday May 22, 2011:

WOMEN: Loving God With All Your Mind - This study will be looking at various promises in the Word of God for women. This will be a video series done by Elizabeth George. The class will be half viewing the video and half discussion. Jan Jaussen will be leading the discussion. Particular application will be made to married life as well. The goal of the class is to help women mature in their faith and to live out their faith in practical ways in their lives and home.

MEN: Godly Men, Godly Leaders, Godly Marriages - This class will focus on the man’s role in marriage. Todd Jaussen will be looking at the unique calling that men have in the home as leaders and what a blessing a godly, loving, servant/leader can be to his home. Many various topics will be discussed over the course of the class. The goal of this class is that Christ will be exalted in our homes and that our families will be richly blessed as we men live up to the standard the Bible has set for us. If you are thinking of being married some day, been married 1 year or 50 plus years there will be something in this class for you.

New Sunday School Class for Women

What's a wife to do? Jan Jaussen will be leading a 6 week Sunday School class for women starting Sunday November 7, 2010. The class will focus on what it means to be a Godly woman. Topics will include respect, contentment, and submission.

Attention Young Women and Moms

We’re beginning our Growing Pains Bible Study again on Thursday September 2, 2010. This is a group of young moms, moms of preschoolers, expecting moms, or just young women in need of fellowship, encouragement, and a challenging Bible Study group! This fall we are studying and reading through Lies Women Believe by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. Please come, invite your friends, invite other moms you think are in need of the support. We’ll meet every Thursday from 10:00—11:00 am at the church.
