Special Congregational Meeting Set

A special congregational meeting will be held on Sunday April 8, 2018 at 12:00 noon for the purpose of confirming a new elder, Jonathan Powell, to the eldership.

A tureen lunch will follow the meeting.

Bread Making Class Announced

We will be offering a Bread, the Staff of Life class on Saturday February 17, 2018 at 10:00 am. Come experience the joy of making bread! Lunch will be included. Those interested in attending, please sign up.

Jr. Church Kids Hosting Fall Bash

On Sunday October 29, 2017 the Jr. Church kid's will be hosting a Fall Bash starting at 12:00 noon. Everyone is invited. Lunch of soup and salad will be provided. Lots of games, fun activities, and a hayride will follow.

Lunch Get-Togethers Planned for Winter Months (UPDATED)

During the winter months of 2017 we will gather once each month for lunch after Worship Service. Regulars, newcomers, and visitors are invited to participate. This will be a opportunity to to fellowship with some you don't know or don't know well. Emphasis will be sharing the meal while meeting someone new. All food will be provided.

Update: The events are scheduled for January 22, February 26, and March 26, 2017.

Greenhouse Field Trip Announced

The Senior Saints and the Grief Support Group are joining together to visit DJ’s Greenhouse in Transfer, PA on Wednesday August 10, 2016 for a luncheon. The cost is $10 per person. There will be a short talk on low maintenance perennials and what is happening in our gardens this time of the year. Lunch will be served at 12 noon. Starting time is 11:30 am. Senior Saints Exchanging Valentines

The Senior Saints are having a Valentines Luncheon on Thursday February 13, 2014 at noon. Meat and beverage will be provided; bring a dish of your favorite food to share.

Senior Saints to have Christmas Luncheon

The Senior Saints ministry will have a pot-luck luncheon for their monthly gathering on Thursday December 12, 2013 at 12 noon. Meat and beverage will be provided. Attendees should bring a $1 gag gift (or just wrap up any small unwanted item lying around the house) for a fun gift exchange. Please sign up if you are planning on attending.

Senior Saints to Visit Jefferson Depot Village

The Senior Saints ministry will be touring Jefferson Depot Village, a 19th century village with homes, church, and railroad station, on Thursday September 12, 2013. Villagers will be dressed in period clothing. The group will be leaving Crossroads at 9:00 am. The tour begins at 10:00 am.

Senior Saints to Tour CCL Container

For the May 2013 gathering of the Senior Saints a tour of CCL Container in Wheatland, PA is planned. Please meet at Crossroads at 9:00 am and the tours will start at 10:00 am. Afterwards the group will stop at a local restaurant for lunch. Please sign up if you plan to participate.

Senior Outing to Deer Park

A Senior Saints outing will take place at the Pymatuning Deer Park in Jamestown on Thursday June 14, 2012. Meet at the park in the food wagon area at 11:30 am for lunch with a walk through the park to follow. The group rate of $5 per person plus lunch and other purchases is at your own expense. Baseball History at Senior Saints Luncheon

There is a Senior Saints luncheon Thursday April 12, 2012 at 12 Noon. Jim Patterson will be speaking on baseball in Mercer County. Food and beverage will be provided.

Valentines Theme for Febraury Senior Saints Luncheon

The Senior Saints lunch on Thursday, February 9, 2012 will have a Valentine theme. Come share "How did you meet your sweetheart?" The meal will be provided.

January Senior Saints Luncheon

The Senior Saints are to meet at noon Thursday January 12, 2012 at Crossroads for a luncheon. Lunch will be provided. Andy Vana from the Andrew J. Vana Funeral Home in Hadley will speak about end of life issues and arrangements.

Seniors Ministry Luncheon Rescheduled

The inaugural Seniors Ministry luncheon originally planned for Thursday July 7, 2011 has been rescheduled for Thursday August 4, 2011 at 12:00 noon. This event is to kickoff the new Seniors Ministry. Annual Quilt Fair Coming Soon

The Ladies' Aid will be holding the annual Quilt Fair on Friday October 8, 2010. They are currently seeking donations of craft items and baked goods for the event. All items can be brought to the church by Thursday October 7, 2010.

Delicious homemade beef-vegetable soup, sandwiches, and homemade pies will be available for lunch. The soup can be purchased by the quart for takeout.
