Combined Holiday Dinner Announced

The annual combined holiday dinner celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas will be held Saturday December 8, 2018 at 5:00 pm. This year's event will be a potluck dinner so bring a favorite dish to share.

End of Summer Cookout Planned

On Sunday August 26, 2018 Crossroads will be having a church pot luck dinner at the pavilion. Dinner will start at 5:30 pm. Bring a dish to share.

After the dinner, a brief congregational meeting will be held to vote on the new proposed church constitution. All members are encouraged to attend and vote.

Holiday Dinner to be Turkey with All the Trimmings

The annual combined holiday dinner will be held Saturday November 11, 2017 at 5:00 pm. This year the dinner will consist of a traditional roast turkey and sides. Everything will be provided. Sign up if you plan to attend.

Summer's Over Picnic Arranged

Crossroads will be holding a potluck dinner Sunday October 1, 2017 at 5:00 pm. Please bring a dish of food to share, your own tableware, and a lawn chair. Weather permitting, we will be using the pavilion. Prayer Meeting will be held following the fellowship meal.

Lunch Get-Togethers Planned for Winter Months (UPDATED)

During the winter months of 2017 we will gather once each month for lunch after Worship Service. Regulars, newcomers, and visitors are invited to participate. This will be a opportunity to to fellowship with some you don't know or don't know well. Emphasis will be sharing the meal while meeting someone new. All food will be provided.

Update: The events are scheduled for January 22, February 26, and March 26, 2017.

A new album consisting of photos from the recent mission trip to the Dominican Republic has been added to the Photos page. More photos from the trip are coming soon.

It's Fall: Time for a Hayride! (CANCELED)

The Knauff family is hosting a hayride and picnic at their home on Saturday October 20, 2012 beginning at 4:00 pm. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and beverages will be provided. Please bring a picnic food to share. We will be making s'mores by the fire after the hayride. Everyone is invited.

Update: Due to an illness in the family, the scheduled hayride and picnic must be canceled.

Holiday Dinner Scheduled

To help ease the stress and busyness that the holiday season can be, this year there will be a combined Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner on Saturday November 17, 2012 at 5:00 pm. There will be a variety of culinary favorites. Please sign up if you plan on attending. A short musical program will follow the dinner.

Man Nite

A chance for men to do manly things, eat manly food, and watch a manly movie together.

Men of all ages mark your calendars for Saturday March 24, 2012 for Man Nite at 6:00 pm at the church! (Hey...we are men so we can spell night anyway we want!!) It will be a great time for all men of our church, both young and old to have fellowship together. We are going to eat some great manly food...provided by the macho John Owens! So come hungry!! And we are going to watch the movie Courageous together. Bring your sons and grandsons or bring a friend. Bring the guy you have been trying to reach out to with the gospel. This is a powerful movie that will deeply impact all men.

Youth Have Laid Down a Challenge (UPDATED)

The LEAST youth group are challenging the adults of Crossroads to a basketball game so do some stretching and maybe remember what that orange ball feels like. The game is scheduled for Sunday January 22, 2012 so you have time for a little practice. Players, cheerleaders, and fans are needed. Sign up if you are interested.

Update: Tip-off for the game is set for 3:00 pm at the Greenville Rec Center but the gym will be open at 2:00 pm for warm-up and practice. Come to play, cheer, or watch and enjoy and there will be a fellowship dinner following the game.

Celebrate Christmas Dinner Together

The church Christmas Dinner will be held Saturday December 10, 2011 at 5:00 pm. The meal of turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, biscuits, green beans, salad, cupcakes, and beverages will be provided. Signup and indicate the number of people who will be attending.

Church Thanksgiving Dinner Planned (UPDATED)

Thanksgiving Dinner will be held at the church on Saturday November 12, 2011 at 5:00 pm. A list for food items needed and a sign-up sheet are available. Please sign up so we know how many to plan for. Come and enjoy dinner and fellowship!

Update: A concert will follow the dinner featuring Dawna Walsh and Divine Delay.

Youth Hosting Ice Cream Social

Following the Congregational Prayer Meeting on Sunday October 2, 2011, the youth will be presenting an ice cream social for all attending. Come fellowship with us over some delicious desserts!

Come On In, The Water's Great

All are invited to a fun, summertime church picnic at Todd and Jan Jaussen’s home on Sunday July 24, 2011 at 3:00 pm. Bring your swimsuits because the pool will be open. We eat at 5:00 pm. Meat will be prepared by some special chefs here in our midst (don’t miss it!!). Bring a side dish or dessert to share, and don’t forget a lawn chair. We will enjoy each other’s fellowship and have Bible Study together. What a great way to spend a summer afternoon and evening!!!

Easter Morning Schedule (UPDATED)

Join us Easter morning as we celebrate the Risen Savior! The day will be begin with a Sunrise Service at 7:15 7:00 am including a special presentation by the Youth. Next will be a time for breakfast at 8:00 am. The regular Worship Service will follow at 9:30 9:15 am.

Note there will be no Sunday School, Sunday Evening Bible Study, or Youth meeting on Easter to allow you to spend more time with your family on this special day.

Pot Luck Supper and Choir Program

A pot luck dinner is planned for Saturday March 26, 2011 at 5:00 pm followed by a program by the Joyful Sound Choir. Bring your favorite dish to share and enjoy some fellowship in the Lord together.

Take Your Sweetie Square Dancin' for Valentines Day (UPDATED)

Crossroads will again be having a Valentines Square Dance on Saturday February 12, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church of Greenville. There will be a covered dish dinner at 6:00 pm followed by the heel kickin' from 7:30-10:30 pm. So grab your pardner and do-si-do.

UPDATE: The square dancing potion of this event had to be canceled. In its place, to be held at Crossroads, will be a covered dish dinner followed by a hymn sing.

Ice Cream Social Planned

There will be an Ice Cream Social on Sunday January 16, 2011 at 4:45 pm before the Sunday Evening Bible Study. Come, make and enjoy your favorite sundae fixings on Sunday!

Congregational Christmas Dinner Scheduled

The Crossroads Christmas dinner will be Saturday December 11, 2010 at 5:00 pm. Dinner will be provided. Menu will be ham, scalloped potatoes, sweet potatoes, salad, green beans, dinner rolls, pumpkin rolls, cupcakes, punch, and coffee. Please be sure to sign up so we will know how many people will be attending. Come and let’s celebrate the birth of Jesus together!

Congregational Thanksgiving Meal Planned (UPDATED)

A traditional Thanksgiving meal for the entire congregation has been scheduled for Sunday November 14, 2010 at 5:00 pm. Turkey and all the trimmings will be provided. Please sign up if you are planning on attending. Also volunteers are needed for some items and to help serve.

UPDATE: An addition to the evening has been announced. After the meal a concert of special music will be presented. Dawna Walsh and Divine Delay will be the featured performers.
