Combined Holiday Dinner Announced

The annual combined holiday dinner celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas will be held Saturday December 8, 2018 at 5:00 pm. This year's event will be a potluck dinner so bring a favorite dish to share.

The Joyful Sound Choir will be sharing the news about the birth of our Savior at its annual Christmas program on Saturday December 23, 2016 at 6:00 pm. The program is titled Glorious Light. They will be joined by the children from the Junior Church program.

The annual combined holiday dinner will be held Saturday November 11, 2017 at 5:00 pm. This year the dinner will consist of a traditional roast turkey and sides. Everything will be provided. Sign up if you plan to attend.

Bell Ringers Needed

Crossroads has reserved the Food Entrance at the Greenville Walmart for Friday December 11, 2015 to ring the bells from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm for the annual Salvation Army Red Kettle drive. Please sign up in pairs (2 people per hour time slot).

The Christmas kettle effort is the Salvation Army's largest fundraising endeavor, accounting for a third of their annual budget.

Operation Christmas Child Drive

Its time to fill shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child presented by Samaritan's Purse. Empty boxes and packing instructions are available. Each filled box is an opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with a hurting child.

In addition to individual or family boxes, the children's Sunday School program Life Tools is asking for donations of items so our children can experience packing the boxes. There is a list of desired items available. Also your prayer and financial support is welcomed.

Please return the filled boxes or items for the children to pack by Sunday November 16, 2014.

Red Kettle Bell Ringing Time

Winter is on the horizon and so is the annual Salvation Army Red Kettle drive. Senior Saints to have Christmas Luncheon

The Senior Saints ministry will have a pot-luck luncheon for their monthly gathering on Thursday December 12, 2013 at 12 noon. Meat and beverage will be provided. Attendees should bring a $1 gag gift (or just wrap up any small unwanted item lying around the house) for a fun gift exchange. Please sign up if you are planning on attending.

Bethlehem Morning to be Presented by Choir

The Joyful Sound Choir will present their Christmas program Bethlehem Morning on Sunday December 22, 2013 at 6:00 pm. Come and hear the music to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Refreshments will be served following the presentation.

Sign up for Salvation Army Bellringing

Christmas is coming and we are scheduled to man the Salvation Army Christmas kettle on December 7, 2013 at the Greenville WalMart. Time slots are available for 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Two or more volunteers are needed for each one hour time slot.

Christmas kettle proceeds helps provide services throughout the entire year to families and individuals who are experiencing financial difficulties. The Christmas kettle effort is the Salvation Army's largest fundraising endeavor, accounting for a third of their annual budget.

Shoe Boxes Available for Operation Christmas Child

Empty shoe box kits are now available for Operation Christmas Child presented by Samaritan's Purse. A simple box filled with a few toys, gifts, and treats and packed with love can change a child's life.

Filled boxes are due back on Sunday November 17, 2013.

Special Christmas Outreach to Well Drillers

The outreach to the local shale oil well drillers has been well received and appreciated. For Christmas we intend to offer fresh fruit and cookies to the workers who will be thousands of miles away from their families for the holidays. Any donations should be brought to the church kitchen by Sunday December 16, 2012.

Fill a Shoe Box for Operation Christmas Child

The power of a simple gift. Touch the heart of a needy child this Christmas with a gift-filled shoe box and the gospel of Christ. This year Samaritan's Purse's Operation Christmas Child will surpass 100 million children being reached with God's love since 1993. The four county area of Western Pennsylvania has a goal of 40,000 shoe boxes this year. So pick up a box and instruction brochure and fill it with love. Filled boxes are due back on Sunday November 11, 2012.

Attention Bell Ringers

It's already time to think about the Salvation Army Kettle Drive. They are getting ready for their annual drive to help raise funds for those in need during the holidays and throughout the year. 100% of the money collected stays in the Greenville area.

We will be manning the kettle at the Food entrance of the Greenville WalMart on Saturday December 1, 2012 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Two or more volunteers are required for each one hour time slot.

HARK!! The Angels Sing will be presented by the Joyful Sound Choir on Christmas Eve Saturday December 24, 2011 at 5:00 pm at Crossroads and on Sunday December 18, 2011 at 5:00 pm at Williamsfield United Methodist Church on the corner of US 322 & Ohio 7 in Williamsfield, OH. Come and celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

We will be Christmas Caroling to the homes of shut-ins on Saturday December 10, 2011 starting at 3:00 pm. Please sign up if you plan to participate. We will be returning to Crossroads in time for the Christmas dinner.

The church Christmas Dinner will be held Saturday December 10, 2011 at 5:00 pm. The meal of turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, biscuits, green beans, salad, cupcakes, and beverages will be provided. Signup and indicate the number of people who will be attending.
