Choir Teaming with Kids for Christmas Program

The Joyful Sound Choir is preparing for its annual Christmas program on Saturday December 17, 2016 at 6:00 pm. They will be joined by the children from the Junior Church program to present Jesus, the Birth - Jesus, the Salvation.

Choir Preparing to Present Christmas Program

The Joyful Sound Choir will present the cantata The Birth in the Shadow of the Cross on Sunday December 21, 2014 at 6:00 pm. Come celebrate the birth, death, and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ.

New Choir Season Beginning

The Joyful Sound Choir is welcoming new voices as they resume weekly practices on Thursday September 4, 2014 at 6:30 pm. Any youth or adult that loves to sing and have fun are welcome.

Choir to Sponsor Spring Program

The Joyful Sound Choir is convinced spring is indeed coming and, to prove it, they are planning a Spring Concert for Saturday March 29, 2014 at 6:00 pm.

They are also looking for persons interested in presenting a special musical number, tell a story, read a poem, give a testimony, or share something special. If interesting in participating, contact Debbie Weese.

Preparing for Creation 2013

Anyone entering 7th grade next school year or older are welcome to join the youth for Creation Festival 2013. This is a internationally recognized Christian event that features music, teaching, and fellowship at Agape Farm in Shirleysburg, PA. Dates are June 26-30, 2013.

Deadline for ordering tickets is May 12, 2013. Cost is $92 if ordered prior to April 11, 2013 and $102 after.

Calling all Youth to Creation 2011

The youth are planning to attend Creation 2011 this summer and all 7th through 12th graders are invited to join them along with any adults or families who want to experience the music, teaching, and fellowship of this Christian festival. The event runs June 29 - July 2, 2011 at Agape Farm in Shirleysburg, PA.

There is a discount for ordering tickets early, so if you are interested, please contact Annie Ball by Sunday May 1, 2011.

Pot Luck Supper and Choir Program

A pot luck dinner is planned for Saturday March 26, 2011 at 5:00 pm followed by a program by the Joyful Sound Choir. Bring your favorite dish to share and enjoy some fellowship in the Lord together.

Do You Like Christmas Music?

If you do then we have a deal for you: following the Christmas dinner on Saturday December 11, 2010 there will be Christmas Carol Sing-along / Christmas Carol Open Mic night. Anyone who wants to sing, play, or read for us, please sign up. Please provide the name of the piece you are doing so those who sign up after you may decide to do something different.

Creation Festival

We are considering taking a group of youth to Creation 2010 this summer. This four day Christian music festival will be held June 30 - July 3, 2010 in Mt. Union, PA. There will be many Christian artists and bands and a variety of speakers. There even is a kids' stage for younger children.

Anyone entering seventh grade next fall or older is invited to attend. (Younger children are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent.)

We will be camping, eating, and worshiping together. Each individual will have the opportunity to select the speakers and bands they would like to hear during the day. Check the link above for the current schedule of artists, speakers, and events.

In order to plan ahead and also obtain a discounted price, anyone interested needs to see Annie Ball by Sunday May 16, 2010.

We are also in need of adult chaperones, transportation, and other help!

Special Musical Evening Planned

On Sunday May 2, 2010 at 6:00 pm the Joyful Sound Choir will present “Saved By Grace.” Come and enjoy the music of the choir, Divine Delay, Crossroads Praise Team, Dawna Walsh, Cowan Family, Kids Bells, and the Youth. Refreshments will be served afterwards.

Keelings in Concert (UPDATED)

The Keeling family will be presenting a gospel concert at Crossroads on Saturday April 10, 2010 at 7:00 pm.

Can You Sing? New Choir Season is Forming (UPDATED)

On Sunday August 30, 2009 there will be a meeting after the worship service for anyone interested in joining the choir.

Weekly choir practice will resume Thursday September 3, 2009 at 6:30 pm.

Final 2009 Summer Fellowship Gathering (UPDATED)

For the final Summer Fellowship Gathering event, Mrs. Jeanne Ball and family will be presenting an evening of music and memories here at the church on Sunday August 30, 2009 at 6:00 pm.

Several groups will be praising the Lord here in song, giving testimony to His goodness and faithfulness. Come share this time with them. There will be a fellowship time afterward. Please bring your favorite desserts.

Sound Witness in Concert

A concert by Sound Witness is scheduled for Sunday July 12, 2009 at 6:30 pm. They are a country, bluegrass, gospel music group proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ in song. A time of fellowship will follow the concert.
